Abstract
Identity appears as a dynamic construction resulting from the articulation of philosophical reflection, psychic life, and socio-historical determinations. It is formed through a process of self-recognition mediated by otherness, marked by a constant tension between continuity and transformation.
Rooted in the body and traversed by the unconscious, identity remains fragile and partially opaque to the subject. Finally, it is shaped by power relations and historical frameworks that produce assigned identities, often generating conflict and alienation. Identity thus emerges as an ongoing quest rather than a fixed or stable state.
